Abstract

It contains the new information about the ultrastructure and properties of platelets, about the composition and biological value of the granules, about the structure and role of the open system of tubules, also about the participation of platelets in the reactions of innate and adaptive immunity and in inflammation. In detail describes receptors and molecules of adhesion, that play an important role in interaction between platelets and blood cells, in the development of inflammatory and protective reactions. Provides information on the interaction of platelets with pathogens.
